While the Logan Library provides Rose-Hulman with access to many databases that list eResources (journal articles, e-book chapters, e-books, etc.), not all of the eResources listed in these databases are immediately available to you in full text.  Seeing "Rose-Hulman" toward the top of the database's main search page, simply identifies that Rose-Hulman subscribes to that database.  Indicators that the full text of the needed eResource is immediately available for free for you to use include:

  1. the journal title and journal date ranges of interest for the specific journal are listed in Journal Finder,
  2. the e-book title of interest is listed as an e-book in the Logan Library's library catalog, and
  3. the title of the eResource in the Logan Library database has an icon, such as a green dot, an unlocked lock, a PDF icon, an htlm link next to it that leads you to the full text.

For some databases,

  1. the library may only provide access to articles from certain journal volumes or certain years,
  2. the Open Access and other "free" eResources available from publishers may fluctuate over time, or
  3. there may be a requests for an online payment to access an eResource.

The Logan Library encourages you to not purchase any eResources without first submitting an interlibrary loan request to see if it is available to you for free.

Please do not hesitate to contact the Logan Library if you have any comments, questions, concerns about accessing the Logan Library's eResources.

Please do not hesitate to report any errors or other technical difficulties you encounter accessing the Logan Library's eResources.
