Archives and Special Collections - Records, photographs, artifacts and other items of historical value to RHIT have been collected and preserved. Many items can be viewed online.

 

Ask-a-Librarian - Ask a Librarian provides RHIT students, faculty, and staff with virtual reference services through live chat and text messaging whenever the library is open.

 

Borrow Materials - RHIT students, employees, and retirees may borrow Logan Library materials by visiting the library’s circulation desk. (Books,

Movies, Standards, etc.). We also have reciprocal borrowing agreements with ISU and SMWC. All RHIT students may obtain a Vigo County Public Library Card for free.

Copyright Support - Obtain library support to answer your fair use and rights questions.

 

Course Reserves - RHIT faculty can request for items to be placed on course reserves. RHIT students can borrow these items.

 

Information Literacy Modules - Online modules for library research, standards, patents, and the IEEE citation style.

 

Instruction Services - Customized library instruction sessions on a variety of topics to support information literacy specific to disciplines.

 

Interlibrary Loan (ILL) - Access to library materials from other academic and public libraries in the U.S.

 

Library Catalog and Databases - Search, browse, find, and use information from the library catalog and over 130 databases containing books, journals, standards, etc.

 

OER and Affordable Textbook Initiative - Increasing awareness of RHIT’s textbook affordability movement and promoting adoption of Open Educational Resources.

 

 

Printing, Scanning, and Copying - RHIT students can use the printers, scanners, and photocopier on the main and upper level of the library for free for RHIT educational purposes.

 

Reference and Research Help - Customized help for your library and research questions. Help for finding journal articles, books and standards.

 

Research Guides - Subject-specific resource guides to help you locate the information you need.

 

Rose-Hulman Scholar - A Digital Commons open access repository containing a wide range of Rose-Hulman research and scholarly output.

 

Study Spaces and Reservable Rooms - Library study spaces, reservable study rooms, and reservable conference room are available on a first-come-first-served basis. Room reservations are available for rooms that seat two to 12 students.

 

Revver – An institutional repository that houses RHIT’s Institute Meeting minutes, Institute committee documents, and many other documents. It is only accessible to authorized users.
